About Andy Kabza

With nearly a decade and a half of experience as a political consultant, caucus director and campaign manager, Andy has worked on campaigns at every level. His experience encompasses every facet of a successful operation: from management, to voter contact, paid communications, to targeting and research – while working as a campaign operative for federal, state and local campaigns across Colorado and in Virginia, Texas and Massachusetts.

In 2010, Andy was brought on by the Colorado House Democrats to rebuild their caucus program from scratch, ultimately saving over a half dozen vulnerable Democratic seats in a Republican wave year. As the House Majority Project’s Executive Director, Andy’s 2012 program won 17 out of 18 targeted seats – protecting every sitting Democrat and unseating five incumbent Republicans.

Prior to running the Colorado HMP, Andy worked as the Statewide Caucus Director for U.S. Senator Michael Bennet’s 2010 campaign, developing the targeting and contact strategy that in less than four months created a statewide grassroots political base for a first-time candidate in a competitive primary. In 2008, he managed Larry Joe Doherty for Congress, a DCCC Red to Blue race in Texas. Andy began his career as Political Director for Angie Paccione for Congress in 2006.

Born and raised in Michigan, Andy attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, and was a 2002 Hansard Scholar at the London School of Economics.

Let’s see how we can help.
